Mike Ruggiero

Starting as an intern, Mike Ruggiero is now the Digital Marketing Marshal at Brain Candy. Originally from the suburbs of New York City, Mike moved to Nashville in 2021 to pursue his passion for the music business, connect with other musicians, and learn from like-minded industry professionals. When he’s not going beyond the traditional for Brain Candy’s artists, you will find Mike cooking something special or watching the New York Mets!

Music has been paramount in Mike’s path to success since he starred in his first musical, Grease Jr., at ten years old. Learning how to play various instruments throughout his youth, Mike grew a passion for playing guitar and singing songs his parents introduced to him as a child. As a student at Pelham Memorial High School, Mike studied music theory and became a leading influence in the school’s jazz and choral ensembles.

Mike also emerged as a leader in his community and beyond. As an Eagle Scout with Troop 11 New Rochelle, Mike volunteered to make his community a better place for everyone by engaging in public service projects, the largest of which was his restoration of 20% of his hometown’s natural greenspace in Pelham, New York. Leading large teams of volunteers, Mike recognized the value of bringing out the strengths in his team members to drive collateral success. Living by the virtues of respect and dedication, Mike has always put his heart and soul into making a meaningful difference in everyone’s lives. He has carried these values with him as he pursues his professional career.

As a graduate of the Berklee College of Music with a B.M in Music Business and a minor in Audio Production, Mike has combined his music industry knowledge with his marketing genius to serve independent artists worldwide. Having delivered strategic marketing strategies to dozens of clients across various industries, Mike’s years of experience and success have proven his ability to deliver the right message to the right audience at the right time.
